Sacred to the memory of Michael Farthing nursery and seedsman of this place who departed this life on the 16th day of May 1854 aged 56 years. Also Beatrix widow of the above who departed this life on the 24th day of December 1876 aged 76 years. Rest in peace. Also in loving memory of Beatrice second daughter of the above who died May 31st 1899 aged 65 years. ( Lived at Trout Stream Cottage - demolished 2015).
